⚡ Trees + Power Lines = Problem (No Inspector Needed… But Here We Are)

I mean… you don’t have to be an inspector to look at this and say:

“ya this is wrong.” 😂

…but yeah — this is wrong.

When power lines are running directly through heavy tree growth like this, it’s not just a messy situation — it’s a safety concern.

Trees don’t stop growing.

Branches expand, shift, and start making contact with the lines. Over time, that contact turns into friction, pressure, and potential damage.

Now you’re looking at things like:

  • Power interruptions

  • Damage to the lines

  • Increased fire risk

  • Possible shock hazards

And when this is happening right next to a home, the risk level goes up even more.

This isn’t something that fixes itself. It only gets worse as the tree continues to grow.

Typically, this is something that should be addressed by the utility company or a qualified arborist — not ignored and definitely not left to chance.

Again… you don’t need to be an inspector to know this isn’t right.

…but it’s always nice having that second opinion that also says:

“ya… this is wrong.” 😂🤣

Final Thought

Trees grow. Problems grow with them.

This is exactly the kind of thing we look for during an inspection — catching issues early before they turn into something bigger.
